Master Suyeon Yoo brings over 20 years of Taekwondo experience and an outstanding competitive record to Taekwondo World. A proud graduate of Yongin University—Korea’s premier martial arts institution—she was awarded a full athletic scholarship for her excellence in competition and performance. During her university years, she was also a distinguished member of the Korean National Taekwondo Team.
As a professional athlete, Master Suyeon was a member of the elite Jeju Pro Taekwondo Team and has earned podium finishes in prestigious international events, including:
- 3rd Place at the 2015 Universiade (World University Games) in Gwangju
- 3rd Place at the 2017 Korea Open Taekwondo Championship
She has also placed in over 30 national-level tournaments throughout her career in Korea since she was young.
Master Suyeon holds a 5th Dan Black Belt and is certified by Kukkiwon as both an International Instructor and a Poom/Dan Examiner.
She leads as Head Instructor at our Castle Hill Headquarters and serves as Sparring Coach for our tournament team. Under her guidance, our athletes have achieved success at the Australian National Championships and other major events.
