Our Teens class is a separate program for our students who are of High School age. These classes are designed to build and maintain fitness, flexibility and strength, while also boosting confidence and reducing stress levels.
Students complete a full warm-up and stretching session at the beginning of class, with a cool down session before the completion of training. This helps to prevent injury, while also improving and maintaining flexibility.
Students in our Teens program are taught Taekwondo skills by a team of over 15 dedicated instructors, allowing those who require it to receive specialised attention. Each student also receives specialised classes upon joining, which allow our newest students to easier grasp their first techniques.
Students in our Teen classes benefit not only from the physical aspect of Taekwondo, but also from the social connections formed in classes, as well as the mental benefits of studying a martial art.
Our Teen classes are run separately from our Adult classes, ensuring that our young students have the opportunity to build strong friendships with students of their own age. While Taekwondo is largely an individual sport, students interact to share and discuss techniques, as well as participating in team exercises.
Our Teen Classes cover the following points:
- Taekwondo Techniques including Patterns, Sparring and Olympic Sport Rules
- Self-Defence and conflict avoidance techniques
- Positive attitude and Self-discipline
- Stretching and warm-up techniques
